30 Hours of in class instruction which includes the state mandated drug and alcohol safe driver’s segment module.
8 Hours of behind the wheel training. Learn speed control, traffic Signals, proper distance for following, parking and more.
Upon completion of this course your student driver will receive a certificate enabling a discount on insurance.

Drug and Alcohol Safe Drivers Segment

Drug and Alcohol Safe Drivers Segment & 2 Bonus Hours of Behind the Wheel Instruction

DMV requires home-trained applicants to show evidence of completing an eight hour course on the nature and the medical, biological and physiological effects of alcohol and drugs and their impact on the operator of a motor vehicle, the dangers associated with the operation of a motor vehicle after the consumption of alcohol or drug abuse, the penalties for alcohol and drug-related motor vehicle violations.

Also Included in this package is our 2 hours of behind the wheel driver’s training in a Liberty Driving School Car with a licensed instructor. Pick up at location available.

Mandatory Two Hour Parent Training

The purpose of this class is to educate parents / guardians about the graduated Licensing law including passenger and curfew restrictions and new stiffer penalties for Text Messaging, cell phone use, speeding, Reckless Driving, The behind wheel training requirements have been increased to 40 hours. The above and more will be disused in this class.

You can join our program at any time we have a revolving curriculum.

The driver's permit test consists of 25 questions, they must answer 20 questions correctly to pass. This is not an easy test to pass. We recommend taking some driver's education class's prior to taking the permit test. Many of our students have found it beneficial to take the 8 hour safe driving practices class. ( Drug & Alcohol class ).

 To join a Driver's Education class your son or daughter must be 16 and have parental permission.

No, as long as son or daughter is 16 they can join. They cannot start driving until they receive a driving permit.

The Full Driver's Education Class which consists of 30 hours of classroom classes and eight hours of behind the wheel driving usually qualifies for the insurance discount. Check with your individual local agent.

Page 1 Demographics Sheet must be filled out and signed by parent and student. Page 3 Medical Sheet must be filled out. These forms can be found on the Learning Center page.

It is not uncommon that students can not make all the classes because of other commitments. If a class is missed in some cases the missed class can be made up at one of our 3 locations, in the following month or we may offer a special make up class.

We teach 2 separate class's because the laws that apply to 16 and 17 year olds is different to that of students who are 18 or older.
