Welcome to Liberty Driver's Education Center LLCOur mission is simple: to teach your child or young adult proven driving skills that will make them responsible stewards of the road. Liberty Driving School,drivers education teaches proven safe defensive driving skills that will help insure the safety of young drivers as well as the safety of others sharing the roads in our communities and beyond.  Additional services available in our Class Room:Onsite Driving Test: We are very happy to announce that we now offer students with the new picture permit onsite testing at our East Meriden Location. This will save parents from a lengthy trip to the DMV. Space is limited…. Vision Test: Minimal vision is evaluated for at least 20/40 in the better eye with or without glasses or contact lenses. Peripheral vision (sight to either side while looking straight ahead) must be 140 degrees or 100 degrees for persons with one eye. Drug and Alcohol safe drivers segment: DMV requires home-trained applicants to show evidence of completing an eight hour course on: The nature and the medical, biological and physiological effects of alcohol and drugs and their impact on the operator of a motor vehicle, the dangers associated with the operation of a motor vehicle after the consumption of alcohol or drug abuse, the penalties for alcohol and drug-related motor vehicle violations Cutting Edge Video Technology: We are currently implementing cutting edge video technology by National Institute for Driver Behavioral (NIDB) that extends and analyzes the in car driving session. We can upon request provide video from inside the car that will capture your child’s driving lesson. This can be a very useful tool for the parents and the driving students to observe together. Fredrick Mottola of NIDB has also developed a companion 4 color book Partnership for expert driving (in-car guides) that has practice guides for the driving instructor, teen driver and Parents. This text book is available for a nominal charge of $10 that covers the cost of printing. Feature Video |
